Event Details

Doors Open (19:00)

Programming music with Sonic Pi (19:30 ~ 20:00) by Andreas Kieckens

Sonic Pi is a programming language based on Ruby that allows you to effectively write music using code. Its author intended it to be used both as a live instrument that you're able to gig with, as well as a classroom utility to help students learn how to code in a fun way. During this presentation I will do a little live coding, starting with the bare essentials. The goal is that everyone in the audience will afterwards know enough to pick it up and start coding music of their own.

Lightning Talks (20:00 ~ 20:30)

Please contact us on Gitter if you would like to speak!

Networking 懇親会 (20:30 ~ 22:00)

Free time to network with other guests

Location

We have moved the meetup to the Degica office on the 6th floor of the Ichigo building on Kichijoji street, 10 minutes from Kichijoji station, with lots of space and a great view! See the Degica website for more info on how to get here.
