Rails has been around for several years now and is loaded with functionality which can be exploited by an attacker if you're not careful. This talk will explain how an attacker looks at exploiting your Rails applications and the steps you can take to prevent it.
Spree has long been the dominant e-commerce platform on Rails, but now that SpreeCommerce has been acquired and development on Spree terminated, many companies running stores on it are wondering what to do next. Luckily a fork of Spree named Solidus has come to take its place. I'll take this opportunity to talk about the issues with Spree as I see them, and introduce another very interesting e-commerce platform called jekyll-store.
We are looking for presenters! To propose a talk for this month's meetup, go to the Kichijoji.rb gitter page.
